This app is great! Few things Id like to mention:

An outstanding app! Ive tried it on a complex family outing, and it worked magic. Well worth the price.

This is the easiest app to use. Has been helpful and was worth the $1 investment thus far. Pretty intuitive, I gave it four stars because of two things that two other reviews stated: - it would be nice to be able to take a photo of the final receipt. - also, being able to save each bill would be cool too. Something nice/helpful to reference to every now and then. Other than that, its easy!

its a really simple app to use. i agree with others that it would be nice to attach a photo of the bill and be able to save the bill also in asia.. my friends thought there should be an option to divide the tip evenly. other than that i think its good!

I dont ever write reviews. Ever. This app is perfect in every way. If you go out to eat with friends and the place doesnt do separate checks, this app is a godsend. Its worth it even for just one meal - you have to try it!

This app helped a lot with my calculation of a large party for dinner. However, I would like it if there was a way to employ some kind of calculator for each item. On our bill, some items for 10% off and other items were not. The bill did not calculate each item separately, but instead printed 10% off the total bill (before tax/tip) near the bottom. I had to switch between this app and the calculator for every item that was 10% off, or do the math in my head. This was rather annoying. If there was a way to simply click 15% off or 10% off on each item using the calculator, it would be much simpler.

I have been looking for a decent app for splitting a bill for years. This one does everything I want and more! It allows for entering tax and tip info, splitting an appetizer or meal, and even texting/emailing the info to everyone to make it super easy with a bigger party. My only request is that it could figure out tax based on the city/county youre in, for if youre traveling or visiting family/friends. But overall this is an amazing app!

I needed to find something that would bring a lot of the confusion and be helpful to save time at the end of a meal with a bunch of people, thats when you start seeing people who place orders look shocked when their part of the check is given to them. I like almost everything about this app except that one thing was flawed, the tip. It calculates the tip after taxes have been added to someones bill, you can see it on the receipt totals, thats the only thing i think that doesnt add up. The app itself is a great tool, but i believe could and will be better the more people send ideas for better use.

Make going out to eat with friends less painful when the bill comes.

Update Aug 2013: I would love to be able to take discounts off the total in this app. Ive run into this a couple of times out with friends where we get say a 10% discount off the total, and the app has no mechanism for applying that to each individual bill currently. Would be really helpful because then those with a larger portion of the bill would get a bigger percent of the discount. :) This has been a problem so many times going out with my friends and now...theres an app for that! This app makes splitting easy, including figuring out how much tax everyone owes. Set tip % to "0" if folks are paying with credit cards and plan to write it in after. Love it!

Awesome app made the bill a painless endeavor for a party of seven. Love that it breaks down food total, tax, and tip and sums it automatically for you with each piece included (eg total + tax, total++). Youve gotta download this app if you dine out in groups often!
